Welcome to the Sandy Tigers FC Summer Tournament 2023.

70 teams are entered over the weekend, we hope it’s going to be an enjoyable weekend for the children and that the weather is good for us all.

Car parking information

Site rules

  • NO DOGS are allowed on site and unfortunately owners will be asked to remove or leave the site.
  • NO SMOKING on site, there is a designated smoking area outside the main gates.
  • Car Parking is on and off site at a cost of £3 per vehicle including a tournament programme these spaces are limited.
  • Sandy Tigers FC will not be held responsible for any damage caused whilst vehicles are parked within the tournament parking facilities.

Tournament rules

  • POINTS – 3 points will be awarded for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss. In the event of an age group final table being tied on points, positions will be decided as follows:
    • Result(s) between tied teams 2 – Goal Difference 3 – Goals For
    • Penalties (best of 5 then sudden death)
  • To ensure the tournament runs to time games must start at the scheduled time. No over/injury time is to be played unless at the discretion of the organising committee. Any team not ready at the appointed kick-off time will be deemed to have lost 0-2.
  • Each player may only play for one team in the tournament age group and must qualify for their age group according to league rules for the 2022/23 season. Maximum Squad Sizes: 5-a-side = 10, 7-a-side = 12, 9-a-side = 16, 11-a-side = 18.
  • Proof of age will be required, if requested by an official or in any dispute. If none is provided that player will be disqualified. Any team found playing in the incorrect age group will be disqualified. All players must be registered in the 2022/23 season. Each team is allowed up to 2 guest players, they must not be academy players and both proof of age and team registered with will be required if requested.
  • “Rolling” substitutions in all age groups (same player can be used more than once in each game). Please notify the referee of all substitutions.
  • Kick-off and choice of ends decided by toss of a coin by the match official. The team choosing to kick off provides the match ball.
    • Round Robin 12 min games
    • Semi/Final 15-minute games, in the event of a draw 5 minutes extra time will be played and then to penalty kicks, best of 5 and then sudden death. no half times.
  • In the event of a colour clash the second named team changes or wears training bibs.
  • Results: Winning team to ensure the result from that game is passed to the admin point within 5 minutes of the game ending, in the event of a draw the first named team shall do so.
  • The offside rule applies to all nine and eleven-a-side games – both teams to provide a proficient assistant referee.
  • Relevant footwear and shin pads must be worn during games.
  • The Referee’s decision is final. The organisers’ decision on any dispute is final and no negotiation will be entered into. Unless otherwise stated all FA “Laws of the Game” apply.
  • Sandy Tigers FC will not tolerate any abuse be it words or actions aimed at our match officials. If any issues arise, the coach or parent will be asked to leave the tournament or risk their team being disqualified. Any on field issues will be dealt with by the referee as listed
  • Any player receiving 2 yellow cards during the tournament will miss the next game. Any player receiving a red card will take no further part in the tournament.
