It takes awful lot of effort for a grassroots football club to get ready for a new season.

There are new players, new coaches, new teams, new kits, new sponsors, new formations, new leagues…

The thing that doesn’t change is the massive commitment from the kids, the coaches, the staff behind the scenes, the parents and families, and the local and not so local businesses who give up their time and money to give our young people a great football experience.

As a club we’re saying a massive thank you to everyone involved, and wishing all our teams the best of luck for a happy and successful season.

We’ve had some pretty unique problems to solve this week getting the pitches ready for our first home games, after the Summer of extreme weather. We must say a very special thank-you to Dave at Greensands Landscaping, who literally and metaphorically dug us out of a hole. We’re all very grateful!.
