Safeguarding

All Sandy Tigers FC coaches attend an FA safeguarding children workshop. They also have to update their safeguarding information gained in that session via regular online courses. The purpose of all the training is to teach coaches to promote best practice in protecting young people, how to recognise signs and symptoms of abuse, and understand fears involved in these concerns. As managers and coaches, we have a duty of care to place the welfare of children before anything else, to make sure players are safe at all times and to help make football an enjoyable, safe and fulfilling activity for every child.
